Luxio and Marshtomp- and their Gijinka

Mulunia, look! I drew a gijinka Marshtomp as a man in tail-coat as I told you once!
And even Marshtomp of mine! I really wanted to draw one after I lately solved what is it in my realistic take.
Nevermind...it's just me.
I just always been not enought satissfied of my realistic take on Marshtomp/ Swampert, because I knew I missed something.

Sometimes I get a mood for something and my head is like focused on it and hardly can on something else.
Since I draw for myself and not a job, I just DREW this now.
I am also sometimes getting a mood to listen to one song like over 30 times in a day or in a 6x loop or something :iconsillydogplz:
Like when I was drawing a comic about Paleoshipping announcing the Ornithischia feathered dinosaur, I was listening like ONLY to two
songs with the paleontology theme and happy mood to keep on challenge with the drawing this comic.
Yeah it's me, if you want to know my "secrets" of the artwork and how I can keep up the challenge.
It's all about the setting the brain, people! or the feels.

So I'm drawing the Weirda's loyal warriors picture, because you don't know how much I adore the thing about samurai and knight themed
personalities and PLUS Baylene the Tropius in the background.
Baylene is that Brachiosaurus from Disney's Dinosaur movie that I always felt hasn't got much love, being in shadow of Ima who actually
haven't brought much message thing in the story.

Anyway, now about the sketches: I try to keep on mood to draw humans if I can. Gijinka is so cool to do that.
AND MARSHTOMP. One of my all time fav Pokemon. Especially after I lately realized it's realistic take!
OMG prehistoric amphibian...or rather a fish-amphibian stage! The transitional species with cool fins!
Marshtomp has a mowhawk fin!
and also it has my favourte color of the skin.

I plan for the Sinnoh backstory an extra comic when a Kricketune will arrive one night to Weirda and her friend team,
Weirda listening to its wonderful play and then an extra comic how he changes into Gijinka maestro, Weirda's and Tinagi's team
also change into Gijinka and coming to a scene with (rather) classic instruments. I have unfortunately a beta concept I really wish
my brain will turn it clearly one day with something inspiring there.
Like...the sound of your soul, try to listen to your heart and play your music for others, don't be afraid to DO.
Maestro: Look, everyone has different instruments <showing Shuriken the Luxio with guitar> even if you feel you don't fit with the scheme,
it's just your way.

Shuriken the Luxio will stay on the side, but Maestro will tell him it's not a typical opera, we can try a totally new thing, it's
an art!

I now decided. I will try to make nailed one shot comic of "savin me" inspired drawings.

The song really fits as for me,
if you listen to it, focus on the little detail at 02: 27- I hear like a whimper of a dog. I can see the picture of Houdour/Houdoom
looking at its death friend from the herd.

"and teach me wrong from right" Yeah, Pokemon that has to kill or hurt badly other. Weirda's and Tinagi's Pokemon were battling
with Team G which don't play fair, so they were had to totally beat their Pokemon with strong hits before getting hurt
in sometimes immoral way, while they have morals.

"these city walls ain't got no love for me" we all know Marshtomp is commonly seen as "eww..." "weird" and etc. I have also
an explanation try for my real Pokemon World take why this, but anyway it's about Marshtomp in city that sees how people
look at him and it's not a Pokemon species that walk on land easily, so Marshall will rather see himself as a problem to everyone.
ESPECIALLY in Hearthome City, a place of Pokemon contests, so where people care about their and their Pokemon apperance.
WHAT MORE, I've got cool idea: Since Marshall is half-breed with Nidoking, at Marshtomp stage he will get faintly, but spots
from Nidorino genes...He will look like having a lot of bruises for those who will see him for the first time,
but those are just spots from half-breed... awesome, but on the other side I feel sorry to him.

It will be placed in timeline when in backstory Weirda and her friend from Sinnoh Tinagi will get attacked by a herd
of Houndours and Houndooms and in defense Shuriken and Marshall will kill some Pokemon...or even a lot.
Like machines, they will kill Pokemon and feel bad about it later. Especially Marshall, because it will again remind him the past
about the incident that his parents died and his breeder was had to kill his old loyal comrade, a Nidoking(who was Marshall's father).
What about Shuriken? Maybe it would be too much if he also has some kind of bad memory, huh?
No really, maybe too much of such sad, drama character backstories. The world is beautiful, I DO KNOW there are people
who was had good childhood and parents...it's enough Shuriken was had to be leaved by his mom, because LION RULES YOU KNOW:
When new male will became the new leader of herd, it kills the youngs, because they're not born with his genes.
So why in Sinnoh you met so many Shinx on beggining routes?
Here goes my explanation: they're all those leaved by females who wanted to save them from that kill. They DO know leaving
them nearbly the city will give them a chance to be adopted by human or Pokemon who live in the city.
Kinda sad, but also kinda better than what happens in real life among lions...

Thrivia: Here goes my head canon that we shouldn't think so strictly that the first stage is a child, the second is teenager
and the last stage is an adult. Some Pokemon stay longer in their first or second stage(I talk only about three stages line),
so they can be adult at the second stage.
Shuriken is maybe younger than Marshall, but both are more mature than other Pokemon at the second stage.
and both feel a bit of desperation they should evolve into final stage faster, because everyone tooks them prejudice they're
not adult yet and treat them in the way they doesn't like. It's also the reason why they will stick together, also the thing
both will be leaders of their trainers team. Shuriken having those genes of male lion Pokemon to have its own herd and family
to carry about, while Marshall wanting to support Weirda, having parently character AND charisma to willing on keep up
with being someone you can always rely on.

another thrivia: Shuriken is OC based on real in-game Pokemon. No, no I don't do nuzlocke. Albeit some Pokemon are fully inspired
by my Platinum game(s). After I've got in my head Shuriken personality, I captured some Shinx and choosed serious one and tried
to challenge myself with his characterisitc "likes to trash about". It always made me a bit confused, because I didn't understand
that term and was had to ask friend what's with this. Thank you again, Jay-Law !

Stop thinking by stereotypes. Stahp. Stahp thinking by schemes.
Might it's a guy that like in my country, "dresses" has to wear like their own "uniform" to belong to a group of guys, but secretly
has different nature that makes him alienated? Really, it does happen irl to guys who are calm and more mannered, but they want
to not be bullied and have friends, so they get into "dresses"... Don't worry, I only tell you a example, not that Marshall
and Shuriken are really like that.
I just see Shuriken is more of a guy that enjoys rock and concerts, while Marshall prefers classic and more of ordinal parties.
Yeah...and it doesn't matter their friendship, however.

It's gives really mixed feelings when you look back how you drew, what made you so proud back then and how you're drawing
and doing stuff now Really mixed feelings.

Classic Marshall Gijinka is classic. I adore BOTH classic and rock music, so I love these bros here. Okay, actually Nickelback
would be considered more as country maybe...(the older songs)

Gijinka thrivia: Shuriken is tall guy, I don't know exactly, but definitely around 1,82 m of height at the age of 24,
while Marshall would be around 1,70 m at the age of 27 years. AND MY HEAD CANON: when Pokemon evolves, it's human age in Gijinka
form goes up, the evolution process is like a catalyzer.

As for Marshall's shirt, I see that it has a print of one of the bands that he likes(even if not much) together with Shuriken,
but I don't have any idea at this moment sigh, better this than nothing, right?

Aaaand.... since I remember I started all the daydreaming about my stories and OCs...
I hear that Marshall has great voice, even if having trouble with pronnouncing, because some bla bla bla things.
So Shuriken would try to use his talented voice here as starting to make him as a vocalist.
YEAH like they will train together as Pokemon, so they will be training that as Gijinka...ahhh I love it~

I hope I illustrated well the situation I have in the head: Shuriken has a guitar on knees, because he played first fragments
of the music for warm up and telling Marshall "I think you can sing that for sure, that vocalist style fits you, so no worries
about your troubles, man!" and Marshall reading lyrics, listening to the song in the background and being like "hummmm",
because he wasn't so talkative back then.

I see as human Shuriken would be a guy that was had good mom, but his father died and a new guy that became new husband
of Shuriken's mother unfortunately came out as aggressive guy, so mother decided together with her son he will leave
and start a new life, since he was already an adult. She gave him money for a new start, so not that bad as it was looking at first.
He's cool guy and was helping other in his neightbourhood to protect young kids from bullying or even aggresive guys,
so he knows how to fight and give a really painful punch or kick.

Marshall hovewer, was HAD a tragedy in his familly. Both of his parents were older than you might imaginate them,
at the ages of 45 and 60+ when they died. Father was starting to have an amnesia, he experienced a war and his best friend,
veteran Samurai was visiting him often. Frigg, Marshall's mother was calm and very caring, but if there was a dangerous situation,
she never been afraid to step into and stop Marshall's father if there was a need. She knew it's because of his illness.

Marshall was raised in a familly with good manners, caring about traditions and knowledge about culture.
One day, Marshall's father got into a rampage and he got a total amnesia, not recognizing even his best friend that spended like,
almost the whole life with.
He killed his wife and haven't stopped the tantrum, so veteran samurai was had to kill him, since he knew if he would get back
to normal, the awarness of what he has done, he would do a suicude or live in unforgettable moral pain.
Marshall doesn't talk much BECAUSE OF THIS EVENT.
His family was always respected, but after that incident everyone started to spread awful rumours, so Marshall became so closed
and thruthfully was had only his grandmother, who was witness of Marshall's parents death.
Furthermore, after helping Shuriken in some fights, he has got some bruises so it made rumours go even further that his father
was beating him, while he never even raised his hand at his kids. Marshall hates what others think about his familly now.

My Luxio DOES NOT HAVE A BEARD, it's only the way of perception and at this angle. It's just oustanding mane below its mouth.

I MEASURE LION POKEMON FROM THE SHOULDER, NOT FROM THE HEAD.
Marshall is not 0,7 m height, but 0,8 m, because he stayed a bit longer time at Mudkip stage, so his evolution was had more
of the growth potential. Another head canon and theory of mine.

Last two cents, because I cannot shorter: Gwaaah no idea for the background. I am bad artist. I tried something to not leave an empty place.

P.S.: X/Y and your "remastered cries", curse you! What have you done with Marshtomp's and Swampert's cry?!
I WANT TO CRY AT THIS TRAGEDY! Seriously, their cries were one of my favs of all time and they fit those Pokemon!
Now they sound to me like they got hit in that place... Poor guys.

Also, the Pokemon team as Gijinka being a band...that's why I adore ShadeofShinon; she also got that idea and actually made
her team with like always, cool songs. I adore everything that artist does.
This is really nice coincidence I dreamed about Pokemon Gijinka band and then I saw after a time she actually DID THE SAME IDEA!

Please don't wonder how the hell I'm getting into such drama backstories. You don't want to know and some ppl got even worse
life and events than me. I just want to speak through my OC we have to deal with this and that and the life goes on.

We have memories, we have present to deal with, we have dreams about the future.
